Pineapple, Orange, Granola and Carrot Smoothie

1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 cup fresh pineapple -- (about 125 grams)
2 tablespoons granola -- (preferably homemade)
1 small carrot -- or 1/2 large carrot, peeled and sliced or diced (about 50 grams)
2 ice cubes -- (optional)
To garnish: -- carrot sticks, or curls for garnish
Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend for 1 full minute.
Yield: 1 generous serving.
