AuthorNote: This slimmed-down bread pudding is a wonderful way to use up
leftover, even slightly stale, challah.
Breaking Bread: It is important to cut the bread used for bread pudding
into uniform 1" to 2" cubes for maximum absorption and distribution of
liquid. Slightly stale bead cuts easily and can be used in bread puddings
or stuffing. Bread cubes can even be frozen for future use.
