Asian Style Dressing

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup red-wine vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1 teaspoon sugar -- or equivalent sugar substitute
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt -- or salt substitute
Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Store in a jar or container labeled with name and date. Shake before each use.
Yields: approx. 1 cup (8 two-tablespoon servings).
Shelf Life: 2 weeks in refrigerator.
AuthorNote: If you want to be a little more daring with this recipe, add a drop of Tabasco or wasabi sauce to the recipe. The salt helps bring out the flavor.
